To Those Who Feel Silenced or Hidden: 11/02/2025
I seen a picture/vision of a bunch of flowers wrapped up in paper lying on a table but they were all closed and none were blooming, it looked like they had been forgotten about: the next day I seen another picture of the same bunch of flowers, and someone had walked past picked them up and started to lovingly pick off the dead leaves, and dry parts of the stem, they were then put in a vase with some water & slowly but surely the buds started to open and they started to bloom each one carrying a unique and beautiful fragrance and colour.
This is what I felt the Holy Spirit show me:
You are not forgotten. You are not invisible. God sees you, even in the quiet places. He hears the words you’re too afraid to speak, the prayers you whisper in the dark, and the cries of your heart.
Maybe fear has held you back. Maybe past wounds have silenced you. Maybe you feel like your voice doesn’t matter. But the truth is—God has placed something within you that the world needs. Your story, your voice, your fragrance, your presence carries purpose.
There are seasons where God calls us into a quiet retreat with him, “Even Jesus withdrew to pray in silence—sometimes the loudest faith is found in the quiet.” (Luke 5:16)
But there is a difference between seasons of silence & hiddenness, and being silenced by the enemy. One bears the fruit of the Holy Spirit which is shalom and the other carries fear and intimidation which is not from The Lord. We don’t speak to voice our opinions, we speak to voice the word of the Lord and to encourage others
Even Moses doubted his ability to speak, yet God used him mightily (Exodus 4:10-12). Even Elijah hid in a cave, but God called him out with a gentle whisper (1 Kings 19:11-13). Even Esther feared speaking up, but God positioned her for such a time as this (Esther 4:14).
You are no different. God is calling you to step forward, to trust Him, and to know that your voice—whether spoken loudly or in gentle whispers—matters.
You don’t have to stay hidden. You don’t have to be afraid. God will give you the courage, the words, and the strength to walk in the purpose He has for you.
“The Lord is your light and salvation—whom shall you fear?” (Psalm 27:1)
Come out of hiding. Your voice is needed. You have an inner calling that is waiting to be released. Your presence matters. Gods voice within you is gentle but powerful, listen & follow where he leads.
